OPTION 2: Working effectively with diverse/multicultural communities (1500 words)
This assessment task requires you to reflect on the skills and abilities most needed to work effectively in diverse/multicultural communities. In discussing working effectively in multicultural communities, you are required to give examples from your own experience. You must consider your current state of professional practice, the skills you already have, and the skills you need to develop further. Finally, you must discuss the ways in which skills relevant to working in diverse/multicultural communities can be developed. It is important that you identify both direct and indirect ways of developing relevant skills including by means other than through a placement or other experiential learning experience. 

This is a formal assessment. Your essay must not be only descriptive but provide critical analysis of the topic.

Students must achieve 45% in this assessment to pass the unit.
