You are a nursing student at CMH, and a fellow nursing student tells you that he has prepared two syringes for a PICC line: one with potassium chloride and one with sodium chloride. He forgot to label the syringes and is not sure which syringe is which, but he figures that potassium and sodium are “pretty much the same anyway.”
