The Paper Review assignment must conform to the following guidelines:

General Requirements

Minimum of three (3) and a maximum of four (4) pages
Title page
At least two (2) content pages - including references
Single-spaced
Include page numbers
Do not include a page number on the title page
Use correct spelling and grammar
Professional style and appearance
Include citations

Title Page

Should contain the following information (in some order)
Title of the paper being reviewed
Student’s name
Course title
Professor's name
Due date of the Paper Review assignment

Structure

Note 1: Except for a minimal amount of direct quotes, the paper review must contain the student's explanation and thoughts about the peer-reviewed article.

Introduce the peer-reviewed article
What is the purpose of the article?
What research did the author conduct?
What type(s) of background research did the author review?
Discuss the major idea(s) presented in the peer-reviewed article
Summarize the test(s) the author conducted during their research
What test(s) did the author perform?
What data did the author collect?
What conclusion(s) did the author draw from his or her research?
Explain (in your own words) what you learned from the peer-reviewed article

References

Students must include a reference to the peer-reviewed article
Students should not include the references listed in the peer-reviewed article
Format references and citations using the Reference Standards
The Paper Review assignment will be checked using Canvas' plagiarism tool
