Write a 250 to 300-word reflection upon class material that fulfills the following:
1. Provide an explanation of why it might be beneficial to be able to take an ethical, i.e., objective, viewpoint of ones and others moral, i.e., subjective, positions. 2. Then, provide a possible criticism of the claim that an objective ethical viewpoint is the best position from which to assess morals. In other words, what reasons could be given to argue that objective ethical positions are not ones that we should attempt to take when making decisions about how to behave. To address this assignment effectively, you must explain the distinction between ethics and morals as presented in the lecture recordings. Do not assume that I know that you understand this distinction. Make it very clear to me in your discussion that you do so. (You should dedicate at least one third of your discussion to explaining this difference.)
