The purpose of this posting is for you to discover more about who represents you in Congress. The purpose of responding to other students is for you to see other perspectives and learn from your peers.
Task:
1. Use the link provided in the module to determine who are your representatives in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate based on where you live.
2. Select one of your representatives to get to know better.
3. All members of Congress have websites and many are using other online avenues like Facebook, Twitter, and blogs to claim credit, raise awareness on issues, and raise campaign funds. Visit your representative's website and/or social media sites, and write a critique of what you see (what do they show, what works well, what doesn't).
4. Then respond to at least two other students' postings.
Grading:
In order to get full credit for this activity, post about one of the above activities addressing all points in the prompt in a couple of good paragraphs and respond to two other students in at least 3 sentences each.
Do you know what congressional district you live in? Do you know which members of the U.S. Congress represent you? (2 Senators and 1 Representative)
