The purpose of this assignment is for you to take a stance on physician assisted suicide. A number of resources are available for you in the Chapter 10: Death and Dying folder to help you better understand this practice. It does not matter if you are for or against physician assisted suicide. The key is backing up your stance with the 3 major theoretical positions. Using functionalism, conflict theory, or symbolic interaction, you should argue whether physician assisted suicide should be federally legalized. If you are using sources beyond those that are included in Chapter 10, make sure you cite those in APA form at the end of your paper.
