What do I need to do to make a success of this assignment?
Explore the possibilities of introducing data mining applications within a business context of your choice (e.g. retail, healthcare, education, transport, manufacturing, finance). You are required to assess the potential need and benefits of the data mining applications within the chosen business context, as well as assess the implications for its development, implementation and use, such as the business IT/IS/Digital strategic alignment, change management, governance, risk, cyber security implications, and ethics issues. Hence, in addition to considering the business benefits, your analysis should identify the key issues and challenges associated with the introduction of the data mining applications within the chosen business context, and you are expected to advise on how to address them effectively. You should present evidence (from academic papers, published business reports, and published case studies) to support your arguments.
How should I present my work?
You must present your work using the following report template:

How can I obtain guidance on my assignment?
There will be an oral briefing conducted in the week commencing 7th February 2022. You must also take responsibility for asking if anything is unclear or if you require extra support.
An opportunity to gain written formative feedback will be available by handing in a 20% sample 10 days (or more) before hand-in date (deadline 20th April 2021).
