Political Speech Analysis Essay
For your final paper you will find a video of a political speech to watch and evaluate. The speech can be of a current Politician or of a past Politician. The person speaking doesn't even have to be a Politician, but should be speaking for some political reason (to endorse a candidate ect.). The video should be at least 2 minutes and should be something that I am able to view (on a public site).
You will watch the speech and then evaluate the speech based on 3 chapters of your book. You may pick which chapters that you want to use. For each chapter you will pick out three terms that you will use to describe/evaluate. Make sure when you are using the terms that you use enough details that I can tell what your term means and that it is clear you are using the term correctly (don't be vague). You should be thorough in your evaluation.
Your paper should be organized as such:
Introduction — Tell who is speaking, when they are speaking, and what the occasion is. Include the link to the speech.
2nd paragraph — Describe three terms from a chapter of the book giving good details. Highlight the terms so that they are easily recognized.

3rd paragraph - Describe three terms from a different chapter of the book giving good details. Highlight the terms so that they are easily recognized.

4th paragraph - Describe three terms from a different chapter of the book giving good details. Highlight the terms so that they are easily recognized.
Conclusion — Talk about what you think about the speech. Was it successful? How could it have been better? Is the speaker effective? Please also add any additional thoughts.
This paper will be around 2 pages long, although I'm less concerned with the length and more concerned with the content.
