Mental health and well-being are important for our overall health and productivity. In this week’s discussion, we focus on how we can use our problem solving skills to help support well-being and mental health. We define problem-solving as the ability to “identify and frame problems, explore ideas and create effective, ethical, evidence-based solutions” (Strayer University, 1).
For this week's discussion, you need to do three things:
STEP 1: Search online to find a resource that someone could use to either learn about general well-being (wellness) or find support related to mental health. This could include an organization, a video, a podcast, a website, or some other resource. Feel free to use a resource you have found online, one you personally used, or select one from Strayer University's Center for Well-Being.
STEP 2: In your discussion post:
- Share the resource that you found.
- Write about why you think this resource may be useful to others.
STEP 3: Post a reply to at least one other student in the class. In your response, focus on what others share that is relevant to either well-being or mental health.
