Assignment Title
Digital Presentation of your 'Research findings, analysis and conclusion'
Instructions / Requirements
Assignment issued subject to Internal Moderation
You are required to make a pre-recorded digital presentation of your 'Research findings, analysis and conclusion'
You will give a 20-minute Power Point type presentation that your Project Tutor can view on a suitable format such as PowerPoint.
We must be able to see your face and hear your words on the video you upload. If we cannot see your face or hear your voice your submission will be rejected.
You should not read from a script, nor should you read directly from the slides. You should instead talk your audience through your data and arguments clearly and coherently.
The assessment must use the format in the attached document Student Template - CW4.pptx. There are guides to help you display primary data CW4 Template Primary - qual and quant guidance.pptx and secondary data CW4 Template Secondary - qual and quant guidance-1.pptx .
PLEASE USE THESE GUIDES WHEN ADAPTING THE TEMPLATE TO YOUR PROJECT.
If the work does not follow this format and if the sources of your data are not clear and verifiable your work will not be assessed. Please note all figures, illustrations, data, statistics, theories and ideas must be referenced. Please include the author name, year of publication and page reference. If your work includes primary data, you must include copies of your ethics documentation including your ethics protocol number and a sample of your data. This is necessary to ensure that fake referencing and falsification is prevented. Please note that any transgressions will be reported for Academic Misconduct.
Help is available to understand how to produce this from workshop four on 20th July 2023, in your AEB session and the CASE summer support on creating a presentation.
Please pay particular attention to how you display your data and ensure that you have analysed it and that you effectively link your data to answering your research questions / aims / objectives.
To complete this assignment please:
1. Develop your knowledge through workshop 4 on 20th July 2023.
2. Watch examples from previous students
3. Familiarise yourself with the presentation template and attend AEB sessions.
5. Use the 'dissertation' drop-in sessions with CASE to review your work and referencing sessions to check your referencing. The timetable can be found here: (https://herts.instructure.com/courses/104807/files/6296006?module_item_id=2792572 )
Please then submit:
A copy of your slides and
A presentation document titled 'Video Presentation_1XXXXXXX'
Please ensure you upload all ethics forms and a reference list
Please note: as these videos can take time to upload we would recommend that you attempt to upload at least 4 hours prior to the deadline. When you are uploading your video you are agreeing to the following:
