You will recognize some types of photographs, photographer names and maybe even some places as you look through the selection of daguerreotypes, albumen prints, stereoviews, autochromes and other types of images contained within the website.

For this discussion, assume you have a credit card that will allow you to purchase any single item on their site, and start exploring! 

Write about the image you choose:

1. Include a screenshot (or photo) of the image you choose, AND...

2. Explain (in detail) what it is that made you choose that particular image and how the subject matter or process attracts your attention, AND...

3. List all pertinent information (name/title/process) about your favorite photograph from the iphotocentralLinks to an external site. website or from your research about the image, AND...

4. Offer relevant historical insight into the image choice, expand and explain your reasons for selecting the image you chose.
