Core Task
For this assessment you must develop a research question relevant to your field of study. You must then justify why research into this question will be useful for the field and/or you and your professional ambitions. Lastly you must identify existing academic and industry literature that will help you research the question you have developed.
You must provide the following as part of your written submission:
1) A finalised research question relevant to your field of study.
2) A justification of the research question (why it is relevant/ useful to explore both for your area and you personally)
3) A correctly formatted reference list of between 10 and 15 pieces of academic and industry literature relevant to the topic.
1500 words (+/- 10%)
Where to find additional guidance for this task
We will launch this assessment live in the class, where you can ask questions about the tasks, and extra guidance will be found on Moodle. You will be asked to propose your question to the module leader for sign off in advance of submission so we can check you are researching in an area relevant to your field of study. The module leader has weekly tutorial slots available so you can book in to discuss your ideas before submission.
