ASSIGNMENTS
Assignment 1 [The first paper I started just needs fixing i did 2000 words for this and need to fix it according to instructions] I will provide you my draft once I hire you.
Identify and Describe a Social Problem:
Identify a social problem that your agency (you, as either employee or intern) addresses. Articulate the philosophical and spiritual influences that define contemporary agency practices. Identify the ethical issues associated with that social problem and dilemmas that may exist or arise in addressing the problem. Discuss the goals, capacities, and limitations of your agencies mission in addressing the problem. Is there a conflict between the policy’s intended goals/outcomes and implementation of the policy that creates an ethical dilemma for agency staff? Apply a humanistic, spiritualistic, or other ethical perspective and argue how that ethical perspective informs responding to the dilemma. Provide supporting literature for your arguments.
Assignment 2 [ The prof didn’t state length i think if all the questions are detailed in the paper however many pages it takes I think 2000 words will be okay]
Identify and Describe an Ethical Dilemma:
Consider the larger context (e. g. community, state/national/global setting) in which your agency from assignment 1 exists. What barriers and available resources shape the goals, capacities of your agencies mission? What ethical dilemmas are created by the larger context influence on your agency? How does the dilemma impact service delivery for clients? How does the dilemma impact service providers with the agency or between related service providers?
Assignment 3 [ The prof didn’t state length i think if all the questions are detailed in the paper however many pages it takes I think 2000 words will be okay]
Develop an Ethical Dilemma Action Plan:
Develop an action plan that address the ethical dilemma described in assignments 1 and 2. Is it possible for changes within the agency to address this dilemma? Is it possible the dilemma can be through inter-agency efforts? If the dilemma is the result of broader community (i.e., local, state, national, or global) challenges how does the action plan address this broader challenge?
Presentation:
Students will give individual 10 minute presentation, consolidating assignments 1, 2, and 3 into an action plan. The intent of the presentation is for the student to provide a coherent and compelling argument for systemic change rooted in an ethical perspective.
