TASK GUIDANCE:
● An individual 3000-word assignment – written in review format. This review should explore
the methodological challenges involved in investigating research design and implementation.
The assignment is sub-divided into four (4) tasks, ALL tasks must be done.

ASSIGNMENT TASK:
● You are required to critically review the literature to provide an overview of sources you
have explored while researching for your research plan.
● Task 1 – Based upon a vocational setting with which you are familiar, choose and clearly
state 4 objectives and rationale (500 words).

1.1 Aim
what do you want to find out by doing your research? Clearly state, in one sentence, what you hope to achieve by completing the research project. Remember to avoid ‘and’; it needs to be a simple statement.

The simpler the better.

Sections 3.1 – 3.4 will have subheadings as dictated by your themes from your matrix. Remember to compare and contrast the ideas from the sources.
We’re looking for approximately 500 words per theme to allow you enough space to discuss the main ideas around each theme.

* The matrix will include a section for critical comment on the source quality, considering factors such as the author's expertise, the research methods used, and the currency and relevance of the information.

* The literature review will present a comprehensive analysis of the key themes identified in the literature matrix.
* It will compare and contrast the ideas from different sources, highlighting areas of agreement and disagreement.
