Instructions: You should look at the Introduction sections of 2 of the myth articles below. Please answer the following questions for each article:

1. Find the purpose of the study and report the purpose as your answer to question 1.
2. How was the opening paragraph of the intro? Did it hook your interest in reading more? Did it help you understand the importance of the topic? Explain.
3. Find and underline where they define key terms, if they do. What are the key terms? Do they do a good job of defining them? Is it reasonably early in the intro or did they leave you wondering what certain things mean?
4. Does the intro mention a theory (or theories)? If yes, what is the theory, briefly?
5. Can you follow the writing/is it well organized and flows well? What might have made it flow better or be better organized?
6. How was the closing paragraph of the intro? Did it help you understand the purpose of the study? Did it summarize what was said in the intro?
7. When you got to the hypothesis, were you as a reader surprised or was it what you expected? What did you think about the wording of the hypotheses? Was it clear what the independent (predictor) and dependent (outcome) variable(s) were?
