The final project must be accompanied by two-page synopsis of the selected health care
company. The primary report will consist of a 10 to 12-minute oral presentation in which main
points of interest are extracted from the project and presented to the professor and to the
other students. Questions and answers are part of this process.
Examples of some significant questions regarding your health care company are as follows:
• What business(es) is your company in?
• Who are the primary and secondary peers?
• Who are their customers?
• What percentage of market share do they own?
• What is their market capitalization or market valuation?
• What are some financial ratios and what does each say about the company?
• What does the revenue and expenses of the company look like over time?
• What is the stock price of the company over time and what does this mean?
In addition, a literature review of articles about the health care company should be completed
and a reference page (or pages) included with your two-page synopsis of the company.
Some guidelines for a good presentation are as follows:
Clarity: Be clear about what your company does and is preparing to do.
Thoroughness: Be complete in knowing about your company inside and out within the limitations
Documentation: Be able to support facts and data regarding your company.
Sensitivity: Be able to discuss and to explain how factors in the market and environment affect the status of your company.
