Reflection on Writing Assignments

This final writing assignment is a reflection on the essays you have written in the class. Your introduction should identify the specific points you plan to discuss about each paper, and each body paragraph should reflect on one of the assigned essays.

When reflecting on your essays, you should focus on specifics from your papers. You could focus on successes, failures, obstacles that continue to persist, what you learned about the writing process, or what aspect of writing is still a concern.

Since this is a reflection piece, you are free to use first person and refer to your own writing. However, each paragraph must contain a topic sentence, evidence from your own writing, and a reflection of writing. The essays should also be grammatical.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Essay must address the prompt: Reflections of essays

• Be sure to use the discussion board as brainstorming for topics and specifics

• Essay must be in MLA format

• At least 2 pages

• Stated thesis or theses in the introduction

• Stated topic sentences

• Evidence must be vivid and developed

• Include reflections of your own writing

• Grammar must be clear (it is recommended to submit the essay to a tutor before final submission)

• A brief conclusion restating main ideas

• Essay should be organized (usually from least to most important)

• Essay should be unified (everything belongs)
