This assignment comprises of presentation of a ‘real world’ example in global real estate capital
markets. Your task is to present an example involving global real estate capital markets
(maximum 10 minutes). Potential sources may be WSJ, Bloomberg, etc. One path is to consider
a real-world deal. Alternatively, another path may be to consider your group as playing the role
of an acquirer/owner that is evaluating financing aspects pertaining to a commercial grade
property/deal somewhere in the world. Talking points may include facts of the example,
problems/frictions and potential solutions. A PowerPoint file depicting the presentation needs to
be uploaded to Canvas. A presentation during the lecture follows.
