Your image of the child
Each of us holds a different image of the child. This term refers to how we conceptualise children and view them, what we see them being able to do and achieve. The way we view children is likely to affect the way we interact and build relationships with them.
This is my image of the child - someone who is resilient (sturdy) yet delicate (breakable) like this box!
Reply and share your image of the child with a picture and a one-sentence explanation. This is my sentence:
I see the child as delicate yet resilient as I recognise children's needs for assistance as well as their potential for autonomy and self improvement.
