Contemporary Analytic & Continental Philosophy with Philosophy of Language Forum 10

Focus on the assigned textbook readings found on the Course Calendar (since the last forum was due), but ARGUE TO  include and relate these to the assigned online readings IN THE PAST WEEK too.

Compose this forum based on any to all of the readings assigned in this course since the due date of the previous forum. Follow the paragraph template instructions above.

Consider what is gained and what is lost through Wittgenstein's early work (Tractatus) and Russell's logical atomism. How do these and related theories inform (affect) logical positivism and contemporary science? How does Wittgenstein's later work (Philosophical Investigations) change things? And inform Continental philosophy? How does language enable and delimit our thinking and relate this to our understanding of what and how we exist in both of these broad traditions/approaches?
