You are instructed to make a written application for the prosecution in the case of R v Goldsmith. Your full instructions are in the case papers Download case papers.
You should make your application using the appropriate court form.Download court form.
When you submit your form make sure that you save it with your STUDENT NUMBER in the document title. You should also add your student number to the header or footer in the document itself.

Word Limit and Submission Details:
The word limit for your written application is 1,000 words, not including the words that already appear on the court form. Please check the number of words in the form before you start completing the form and subtract this amount from the overall word count once you have finished completing the form to ensure that you are within the word limit. Please note that there is not a +/- variation to that limit, it is a maximum of 1,000 words.
You must submit your written application via the Canvas assignment portal for this assignment before 12:00 hours (midday) Greenwich Mean Time on Tuesday 3rd March 2026. Your document must be in Word Document form.
